WW2/ The Holocaust

The Holocaust was a horrable time for all jews. Because of Adalf Hittler. He pretty much kidnapped all of the jews in Germany and took them to a constration camp. And in the camp was not fun, people had to work and the didnt get much food at all if not any. If Hittlers people thought that you were gunna die soon they would put in a diffrent camp type thing. Of course you couldent leave the children out of all this, the kids would get taken away from there parents and would never see them again. Unless they made it through alive and there parents would have to do the same thing. By the time The Holocaust was over there were over 6 million jews killed. The Great Deppresion

Before the great deppresion everything was going well. People were working and farmers were growing crops, and everyone was getting along. Then BOOM everything crashed and now nobody has jobs and farmers crops arnt growing. It is a mess here as you can see in the picture that everybody was fighting for jobs so they could live and have food for there familes. Now that the great deppersion is over everything is getting better and people are starting to find jobs eaiser but it still sucks

Immigration

In the late 1800's immigration was a big thing. The reason why it was a big deal is because, it was giveing alot of business people to hire. That was good news for railroads people. Because they would come over to the U.S.A they would want to work on railroads because it was good pay

Big Business

There are alot of big businesses in the late 1800's. But the biggest one was probly the factories,and railroads. The reason why the factories were so big was because thats about it for opening jobs, also people didnt have transpotation to get to the railroad work places. The reason why the railroad was a big business was because it paid good and it brang alot of people over from other cournties. But the bad thing about railroad work was that is was extremaly hard work and was long work days.

New Inventions

There are many new inventions in the late 1800's. But the most imporant inventions was electricty. The reason why electricty was so imporant was because now in factories they can have lights instead of candals, witch increses the abilty to start a fire and factories were not safe. Another big invention in the late 1800'swas the type writer. The reason that is a big invention was because they now can type out letters to your employs and you dont have to write out anything. Those were some of the eventions in the late 11800's.

The Traveler Blog Liveing Conditions

To some people the liveing conditions are still bad today. But in the late 1800's the liveing conditions where dirty, small, smelt bad, and didn't have many save places in case of a bad storm or something. These liveing conditions are horrable compared to today. If people had to live in those condtions today, people would freak! Even thow people didnt get much time t their houses they were still dirty, messy, and smelly. Because the people lways had to work, so they were never home.

working conditions

The working conditions in the late 1800's were terrible. People who worked in factories were treated poorly. They had to work long hours, no holidays off, Only had sundays off, and kids were forced to work with there parents because the pay was so little they didnt have enough to buy food so they had their kids work. Also in factories the owners didnt have proper fire exits, so if a fire started you had a pretty good chancce you were going to die.
